The Peninsula Colt League voted last night to enforce a new bat rule. The final language is still being worked out, but it will be based on the new high school bat rules. I have alerted Goetz Brother in Redwood City as to the new rule and they are prepared to give you bat recommendations. Prices range from $200-$400. New Pony/Colt Rule on Jewlery for 2011
The following new rule goes into effect this year.
None of the above can be worn with the exception of for medical reasons.
Please be sure you child understand that all jewelery must be removed prior to stepping onto the field and any refusal will be grounds for immediate ejection.

"Jewelry is defined as any ornaments for personal adornment, including but not limited to necklaces, earrings, bracelets...including those made of base metals, glass, plastic, rubber, cloth, leather or the like."

New Pony/Colt Bat Rule for NEXT SEASON - 2012
The following revision to the Pony & Colt Baseball Bat Rules goes into effect in 2012.
Please take this into consideration as you are purchasing your bats"Wooden, Metal, Graphite or Ceramic bats manufactured for baseball play, which are round and not more than two and five eights inches in diameter at the thickest part, not more than 42 inches in length are acceptable"
